China aids 100 Zhongtong buses to Mozambique

Mozambican President Niusi, Mozambican Minister of Transport and Communications Mesquita, Maputo Mayor Komiche and other government officials,

Chinese Ambassador to Mozambique Su Jian, Zhongtong Bus Chairman Li Shupeng, and hundreds of Maputo The citizens participated in the celebration.

Nyusi said, “These cars are well-made, strong and durable, and will bring great convenience to the lives of the people of Mozambique.”

He also called on the transportation department to speed up the upgrade of the electronic ticketing system and properly maintain the cars.

Su Jian said that food, clothing, housing and transportation are major issues related to the national economy and people's livelihood.

In order to implement the outcomes of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation Summit, China's donation is a concrete manifestation of the mutual respect and

common development of strategic partnership between China and Mozambique.

China will also provide corresponding auto parts and necessary technical training to help improve local repair and maintenance capabilities.
